About this asset

This mid-century natural wood sideboard 3ds Max model includes a curated decor set featuring framed artwork and potted plants. This sideboard features a clean, rectilinear form typical of mid-century design, finished in a warm natural wood veneer. The unit is supported by four tapered, splayed legs and provides storage through three cabinet doors and two upper drawers, all fitted with small, dark circular hardware. Included in the set are two framed abstract art prints, a small potted succulent, and a larger leafy plant housed in a textured, woven-effect ceramic pot. The composition balances functional storage with aesthetic styling, offering a complete vignette for interior visualisations requiring a composed, lived-in appearance.

The download is a 53.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for the separation of the sideboard from the decor accessories if needed. Users should check the scale upon insertion to match project units. Materials are applied using standard mapping, which can be adjusted in the Slate Material Editor. The geometry is clean, ensuring efficient rendering when placed as a focal point in a living or dining room scene, with the decor elements providing immediate visual interest without further modelling effort.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this sideboard fits perfectly in living rooms, hallways, or master bedrooms. It serves as an excellent piece for styling entryways or dining areas where a balance between storage and display is required.
