About this asset

Hausdorf Clear Sky is an equirectangular HDRI environment map providing bright, natural midday lighting for architectural exterior renders. This environment map captures a wide-open, dry grassy field under a clear, crisp blue sky. The lighting profile is consistent with high-noon conditions, casting distinct, sharp shadows and providing a neutral, high-contrast base for scene illumination. The horizon features distant, rolling hills and sparse vegetation, creating a naturalistic backdrop that settles into the background of a 3D scene without overwhelming the primary architecture. The colour palette is dominated by cool sky tones and warm, earthy browns of the dormant grassland, ensuring a balanced, realistic ambient light for any exterior visualisation project.

The download is a 5.9 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment into your rendering workflow, load the file into your renderer's primary world or environment lighting slot. Because it is an equirectangular map, it will automatically map to the spherical projection of your scene. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your model's orientation to ensure shadows fall correctly. For optimal results, use this map as the primary light source to drive global illumination and reflections, adjusting exposure settings to match the scene's desired intensity.

Ideal for residential or landscape architectural visualisations, this HDRI provides a clean, unobtrusive setting for showcasing exterior building designs. It pairs well with suburban or rural housing projects, providing a believable context that enhances the realism of glass, concrete, and timber materials. Professionals working on site-specific masterplanning or isolated object renders will find this map useful for achieving consistent, bright daylight conditions. It is a versatile tool for early-stage conceptual massing or final high-fidelity production renders where a clear, sunny atmosphere is required.
