Japanese Natural Wood Dining Set with Bench Seating

This Japanese-style dining set, modeled for 3ds Max, features a natural wood rectangular table paired with two matching benches. This dining set embodies a clean, Japanese-inspired aesthetic, defined by light-toned timber construction and minimalist geometry. The rectangular table features chamfered corners and a smooth, light-coloured top surface, supported by sturdy, straight legs. Accompanying the table are two backless benches, each topped with a slim, beige upholstered seat pad for comfort. The design relies on simple joinery and linear structural elements, creating a sense of balance and calm. The set includes a complete table setting with plates and cutlery, demonstrating a refined, ready-to-use arrangement for contemporary interiors that prioritise warmth and functional simplicity.

The download is a 2.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised as a grouped set, allowing for easy placement and alignment within your interior scenes. The geometry is clean, with distinct material slots for the timber frames and the fabric seat cushions, facilitating quick adjustments to textures or colours. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly set for the table and benches to allow for efficient snapping to floor planes or rugs. Proper lighting setup, particularly using soft area lights, will best highlight the natural wood grain and fabric textures.
