About this asset

This contemporary double bed for 3ds Max features a fully upholstered grey fabric frame and a complete set of layered bedding. This contemporary double bed presents a clean, minimalist aesthetic defined by its fully upholstered frame. The base and headboard are finished in a textured grey fabric, providing a cohesive and soft appearance. The bedding ensemble includes a crisp white sheet, two sets of plush white pillows, and a textured grey throw blanket draped neatly across the foot. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for modern bedroom interiors. The design focuses on comfort and tactile quality, with the fabric detailing adding depth to the overall silhouette of the piece.

The download is a 45.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation of the frame and soft goods. Users can adjust the fabric tiling or colour maps to suit specific project palettes. The bedding is modelled as separate geometry, allowing for customisation or partial removal if a different styling is required. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the frame for efficient placement on floor surfaces, and check that material assignments remain consistent after merging into the scene.

Ideal for residential bedroom visualisations, this bed integrates seamlessly into minimalist or contemporary interior designs. It works effectively in hotel guest room projects or high-end apartment staging where a neutral, sophisticated palette is requested. Designers often pair this piece with ambient bedside lighting, modern nightstands, or soft area rugs to complete the composition. It is a versatile asset for architects and interior designers looking to populate master suites or guest bedrooms with high-quality, realistic furniture assets that provide a sense of comfort.
