About this asset

This modern grey wood nightstand with integrated pendant lights is a 3ds Max model featuring a compact, open-shelf storage design. This bedside unit features a minimalist, boxy silhouette finished in a matte grey lacquer. The structure includes an open lower shelf for book storage and a flat top surface for decorative accessories. A vertical timber-finish post extends from the rear, supporting two suspended pendant lights with cylindrical wooden shades and exposed bulbs. The composition includes a glass cloche, a decorative bowl, and stacked books, providing a curated look. The clean lines and neutral palette make this a versatile piece for contemporary bedroom schemes, balancing functional storage with soft, overhead ambient lighting.

The download is a 13.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the furniture and lighting components. Users can adjust the pendant light intensity via standard light parameters or swap the included materials to match specific room finishes. The object is scaled to standard unit dimensions, making it straightforward to merge into existing bedroom scenes. Ensure light maps are generated if using global illumination to capture the interaction between the pendant bulbs and the nightstand surface.

This piece is well-suited for high-end residential master suites, boutique hotel rooms, and guest bedroom visualisations. It pairs effectively with upholstered bed frames or minimalist platform beds. Search for this item when looking for bedside furniture that incorporates vertical architectural elements or integrated lighting solutions.
