About this asset

This contemporary linear pendant light 3ds Max model features a fluted glass cylinder nested within an elongated brushed brass capsule frame. Defined by horizontal clarity, the luminaire features an oblong capsule-shaped metal tray finished in warm brushed brass. Resting securely within this open frame is a reeded cylindrical glass shade that diffuses light along its horizontal length. Slender tension cables suspend the fixture evenly from discrete ceiling mounting points, maintaining a light and floating architectural profile. A dark grey rectangular canopy mounts offset to the left of the fixture, feeding a thin dark electrical cable down into a matching brass fitting integrated directly into the perimeter frame.

The download is an 11.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Provided as a native 3ds Max asset, the model is prepared for immediate placement within architectural scenes. Designers can adjust suspension wire heights by translating vertices or moving the ceiling mount anchors to fit specific floor-to-ceiling clearances. Glass refraction and metallic reflection shaders are cleanly assigned, allowing visualisers to tweak roughness and internal light emission to match daytime or evening atmospheric lighting setups.

Ideally suited for high-end residential, hospitality, and corporate interiors, this horizontal fixture excels as a focal illumination piece above kitchen islands, rectangular dining tables, reception counters, and conference boardrooms. Its balanced combination of ribbed glass and warm brass complements minimalist, Scandinavian, and contemporary architectural schemes. Search queries typically include linear glass pendant, brass island lighting, architectural ceiling luminaire, and dining chandelier for visualisations.
