Contemporary White and Gold Reception Desk Scene

This contemporary SketchUp reception desk scene features a white fluted counter with gold accents and integrated wall lighting. This reception desk scene presents a sophisticated, high-end commercial lobby environment. The centrepiece is a long, straight reception desk defined by a striking contrast between its white, horizontally fluted base and a polished gold upper section. The composition includes a curved wall backdrop with integrated recessed lighting, a minimalist circular mirror, and a sculptural gold figure as a focal point. The materials suggest a combination of custom plaster or resin joinery and metallic finishes. The overall aesthetic is clean and sculptural, emphasising fluid horizontal lines and warm, ambient lighting, creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

The download is a 120 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this scene is organised as a grouped model, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a larger floor plan. Users should manage the geometry using layers to toggle the desk, wall panels, and decorative accessories independently. Materials are mapped for immediate rendering, but can be adjusted via the material editor to match specific project lighting conditions. Ensure the model is placed on a flat surface and check the scale against standard ergonomic heights for reception counters before finalising the composition.
