About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a dark wood Japanese tea table set, complete with a decorative bonsai tree and traditional tea service. Defined by its asymmetrical base, this tea table features a long, thin rectangular top in a dark, stained wood finish. One end is supported by a substantial, drum-like cylindrical pedestal with a textured grain, while the opposite end rests on a slender, ornate turned-wood leg. The composition includes a ceramic tea tray set with small cups and a kettle, alongside a vibrant flowering bonsai tree housed in a patterned ceramic bowl. The contrast between the heavy, organic-textured drum and the delicate, refined turned leg creates a balanced, sculptural silhouette suitable for contemplative spaces.

In 3ds Max, this asset is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the table, tea set, and bonsai components. Users should ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for placement on finished floor levels. The materials utilise standard mapped textures, making them compatible with various render engines through simple material conversion. Scaling should be checked against scene units to maintain the intended proportions of the table and the delicate bonsai foliage.
