Bohemian and Contemporary Hanging Chair Set

This collection of four hanging chairs and a hammock for SketchUp features various rope, fabric, and metal designs for interior or patio use. This set includes four distinct hanging seating options, each displaying unique construction and material finishes. The collection comprises a macramé-style woven rope pod, a traditional striped fabric hammock, and two egg-shaped swing chairs. The pod chairs are supported by slender, curved metal frames, while the hammock is suspended by integrated tension ropes. Each egg chair features internal tufted cushions for comfort, with one finished in a patterned textile and the other in a striped fabric. The variety of textures and forms provides a versatile selection for casual seating arrangements in diverse interior or exterior spaces.

The download is a 6.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can import these components into SketchUp as individual groups or components for efficient scene management. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection and placement within architectural models. Materials are applied as standard SketchUp textures, which can be adjusted or replaced to suit specific project palettes. To enhance realism in renders, users should ensure the pivot points are correctly positioned at the top suspension hooks, facilitating accurate rotation and placement relative to ceiling fixings or external support structures.
