Cream Fabric Draped Curtain with Dark Wood Rod

This classic cream fabric curtain model for SketchUp features elegant floor-length drapes secured with matching tie-backs. This window treatment assembly consists of a pair of heavy, floor-length curtains finished in a soft cream fabric with subtle tonal patterning. The drapes are gathered in soft, natural folds and held in place by coordinated fabric tie-backs, creating a formal, draped profile. A dark wood curtain rod spans the width, topped with decorative finials at each end. The geometry captures the realistic weight and drape of textile, providing a refined aesthetic suitable for formal interior settings. The assembly includes the rod, rings, curtains, and tie-backs as a complete, unified unit.

In SketchUp, this model functions as a component that can be easily scaled to fit various window widths and heights. Users should ensure the insertion point is aligned with the top of the window frame or wall recess. Materials are applied to the fabric and wood elements, allowing for easy texture replacement or colour adjustment within the material editor. The curtain geometry is grouped to facilitate quick placement and manipulation within the scene, ensuring consistent alignment across multiple window openings in a residential project.

These curtains are well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and formal dining areas where a traditional or classic look is desired. They pair effectively with architectural mouldings, wooden flooring, and soft furnishings to complete a room's interior scheme. Designers often search for these assets when developing realistic window dressings for luxury apartment renders or hotel suite visualisations. The model is ideal for adding warmth and depth to architectural scenes, particularly when creating detailed views of window treatments and interior finishes.
