Contemporary Wood and Charcoal Shoe Cabinet with Bench

This contemporary 3ds Max shoe cabinet features a wood-finish storage unit, a charcoal bench, and an integrated tall mirror for entryways. Designed as a multifunctional entryway solution, this unit combines vertical storage with seating. The central section consists of tall double-door cabinets finished in a natural wood veneer, providing ample space for footwear and outerwear. To the left, an open charcoal-toned niche includes a small shelf and decorative hanging elements. A matching charcoal bench with a tan leather upholstered cushion sits to the right, positioned beneath a large, full-length mirror. The clean lines and contrasting finishes between the organic wood grain and the matte charcoal frame create a sophisticated, balanced aesthetic for modern interiors.

The download is a 43.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the cabinet, bench, and mirror components. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for accurate placement against walls. The materials are mapped using standard coordinate sets; adjust the wood grain UVs if scaling the unit to fit specific room heights. Lighting can be enhanced by applying a subtle emissive material to the hanging light elements within the open niche.

This storage unit is ideal for high-end residential entrance halls, mudrooms, or boutique hotel lobbies. Its integrated design allows designers to solve multiple functional requirements—seating, shoe storage, and mirror placement—within a single footprint. It pairs effectively with minimalist coat hooks or architectural wall lighting. Professionals searching for bespoke joinery-style storage or compact hallway furniture will find this asset fits seamlessly into contemporary floor plans, especially when detailing transitional spaces between exterior and interior zones in modern developments.
