About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max hallway storage unit features a white and wood finish with an integrated bench and coat rack for entryways. This multifunctional hallway storage unit combines a tall cabinet section with an open-niche bench and a slatted vertical coat rack. The primary structure is finished in a clean matte white, contrasted by a warm, natural-toned wood grain on the top and interior panels. The seating area features a padded brown leather bench cushion, providing a comfortable spot for changing shoes. The adjacent wall panel incorporates vertical fluting and three minimalist black hooks for hanging coats or umbrellas. Rounded corners on the cabinetry provide a soft, modern aesthetic suitable for high-traffic entryways and residential mudrooms.

The download is a 19 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed via a clean layer structure, keeping the cabinet, bench cushion, and hardware components distinct for easy material adjustments. Users should verify that the pivot points are correctly set at the base for simple placement against walls. The wood grain and leather textures are mapped for quick material swapping. When integrating into a scene, ensure the light placement accounts for the integrated bottom-lighting effect to maintain the intended atmospheric quality of the design.

This storage unit is designed for residential entryways, mudrooms, or apartment foyers where space-saving, multifunctional furniture is essential. It pairs well with modern interior schemes, acting as a focal point for transitional spaces. Designers often search for these units when specifying compact storage solutions that combine seating, coat storage, and concealed shoe capacity. It is suitable for both new-build residential projects and renovation schemes, fitting seamlessly into contemporary or minimalist design palettes where clean lines and functional organisation are prioritised.
