About this asset

This contemporary blue fabric round pouf ottoman for SketchUp features a gathered upholstery finish for a soft, informal aesthetic. This low-profile pouf is defined by its circular silhouette and soft, tactile fabric upholstery. The design features subtle gathering around the perimeter of the top panel, creating a gentle pleated effect that adds depth and visual interest to the form. With a compact, floor-hugging stance, the piece offers a relaxed, casual seating solution. The blue textile finish provides a versatile colour profile, making it suitable for a variety of interior palettes. The overall construction is simple and clean, focusing on the texture of the material and the rounded, organic geometry of the object.

The download is a 2.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp scene, place it as a component to ensure easy management of the geometry. Use the scale tool to adjust dimensions to fit specific interior layouts, and apply your preferred rendering materials to the surface to match the project's lighting environment. Ensure the object is positioned on the floor plane, and consider grouping it with other lounge furniture to create cohesive seating arrangements within living rooms or casual breakout zones in commercial spaces.

Ideally suited for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or nursery spaces, this pouf functions as a versatile footrest or extra seat. It also performs well in hospitality environments such as hotel lounges, waiting areas, or boutique retail showrooms where a relaxed, modern aesthetic is required. Architects and interior designers often use such pieces to soften rigid furniture layouts and add a touch of comfort to minimalist interiors.
