Contemporary Walnut Timber Media Unit with Wine Storage

This contemporary walnut timber TV unit for SketchUp features integrated wine storage, glass-fronted display cabinets, and fluted side detailing. Designed with a rich walnut finish, this multifunctional media unit serves as a sophisticated focal point for residential living areas. The central section accommodates a flat-screen television above an open-grid wine rack, flanked by vertical glass-fronted display cabinets. The structure is capped with overhead storage cupboards and features rounded side profiles finished with vertical fluted timber detailing. Open shelving above the television provides additional display space, while the dark interior contrast highlights the warmth of the wood grain. The unit is a cohesive, floor-standing piece that balances closed storage with open display elements.

The download is a 727 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation. Users can apply custom wood grain textures to the timber surfaces or adjust the glass opacity to suit specific lighting conditions. The unit is scaled for standard residential ceiling heights; however, it can be adjusted using the scale tool if necessary. Ensure the model is placed on the appropriate layer to manage visibility, especially when toggling the display of the integrated wine rack or glass elements during the rendering process.
