Two-Tone Pleated Fabric Curtain Set

This pleated fabric curtain set for SketchUp features a layered two-tone design, providing soft light filtration and a refined aesthetic. This floor-to-ceiling curtain assembly features a layered, two-tone configuration. The inner layer is a clean, off-white sheer fabric, while the outer panels are finished in a darker neutral tone, creating depth and contrast. The fabric exhibits natural, vertical pleats that cascade from a concealed top track. This model is designed for high-end interior visualisations, focusing on realistic drape and soft textile folding. The material properties are set up for standard render engines, emphasizing the translucent quality of the inner sheer layer versus the heavier opaque weight of the outer decorative panels.

The download is a 181 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this curtain component is best managed as a grouped object or nested component to maintain scene performance. Users should scale the model to match specific floor-to-ceiling heights within the project file. Because of the complex geometry of the folds, it is recommended to place this on a dedicated 'Curtains' or 'Soft Furnishings' layer to facilitate easy toggling during the modelling phase. Materials can be adjusted via the material editor to fine-tune the transparency of the sheer fabric.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and luxury hotel suites where a layered window treatment is required. They pair well with contemporary interior styles and neutral colour palettes. Professionals often search for these assets when specifying window dressings for high-end residential projects, hospitality design, or staged architectural renders. The model integrates seamlessly into scenes requiring a sense of lived-in comfort, particularly when paired with floor lamps, decorative rugs, or upholstered lounge chairs in a modern setting.
