About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model of a walnut and rattan TV cabinet features a low-profile design with six arched cane-front doors. Defined by a warm walnut timber frame, this low-profile TV cabinet offers a balanced aesthetic through the use of natural textures. The unit is divided into three distinct sections, each fitted with a pair of doors that feature inset oval rattan panels. Small, circular gold-toned hardware provides a subtle metallic accent against the wood grain. The entire structure is supported by short, tapered wooden legs, lending a mid-century inspired silhouette. The interior provides ample storage for media components, while the top surface offers a clean, linear platform for television placement and decorative display.

The download is a 35.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed through a clean layer structure, allowing for easy selection of the cabinet body, hardware, and rattan elements. Users should check the pivot point at the base for accurate placement on floor planes. Materials are assigned using standard slots, which can be easily swapped for custom PBR setups. For optimal rendering, ensure the scene lighting highlights the depth of the rattan weave and the reflective quality of the metallic door pulls.

Ideal for residential living rooms, this media console integrates well into modern, transitional, or japandi-style interiors. It functions effectively as a focal point in apartment lounges or as a sleek storage solution in boutique hotel suites. Professionals might search for this asset when specifying furniture for entertainment zones, home cinema setups, or open-plan living areas. It pairs naturally with low-slung sofas, textured area rugs, and minimalist shelving units to create a cohesive, layered living space that balances warmth and utility.
