About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a distinctive continuous frame upholstered in soft brown velvet for a refined look. Defined by its sculptural, continuous frame, this armchair offers a cohesive aesthetic through its integrated armrests and backrest. The design features a deep, cushioned seat pad upholstered in a tactile brown velvet, which extends over the structural elements to create a seamless silhouette. The chair is supported by a central rear pedestal base, giving it a floating appearance while maintaining stability. The proportions are balanced for compact lounge settings, with the armrests curving gracefully to meet the floor-length side panels. This piece provides a sophisticated profile suitable for minimalist or luxury interior schemes.

The download is a 4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, insert this model as a block or merge it into your scene file. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy floor-level placement. The velvet material is ready for standard shader application; adjust the falloff or anisotropy maps to enhance the light interaction on the fabric surface. Use a physical camera with appropriate depth of field to capture the texture of the upholstery in your final render output.
