Contemporary Walnut and Black Metal Pedestal Side Table

This contemporary 3ds Max side table features a circular walnut veneer top supported by a slender black metal pedestal base. Defined by its clean, mid-century inspired silhouette, this side table presents a circular top finished in a rich walnut veneer with a prominent grain pattern. The tabletop is balanced by a singular, tapered pedestal column that flows into a weighted, low-profile circular base. The contrast between the warm, natural wood tones of the surface and the sleek, matte black finish of the metal structure creates a versatile piece suitable for various interior schemes. The model includes a decorative vase and small objects, providing a ready-to-use accent piece for high-end residential or commercial environments.

The download is an 11.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The model is provided as a 3ds Max asset, structured for straightforward integration into interior scenes. Users can easily adjust the scale or swap the wood grain material to match specific project requirements. It is recommended to use standard object snapping to align the base with floor planes, ensuring the pedestal sits flush. The file is optimised for efficient viewport performance while maintaining sufficient detail for close-up renders, allowing for seamless placement within larger furniture layouts or as a standalone focal point.

Ideal for sophisticated lounge areas, hotel suites, or modern office reception spaces, this side table serves as an elegant accent piece. It pairs effectively with lounge chairs and sofas, providing a stable surface for decor or beverages. Designers often search for this type of pedestal furniture to maintain clear floor space in compact rooms. Whether specified for a minimalist apartment or a high-traffic lobby, the piece adds functional warmth and a refined sense of balance to any contemporary interior design project.
