About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a set of black metal beam seating units with contrasting orange and black upholstered cushions. This commercial seating set includes a two-seater and a three-seater bench, both supported by a rigid black metal beam frame. The design features angled legs and integrated armrests, characteristic of high-traffic public area furniture. The two-seater version is fitted with vibrant orange fabric seat and back cushions, while the three-seater variant features sleek black upholstery. The proportions are utilitarian, designed for durability and ease of maintenance in high-occupancy environments. The clean lines and monochromatic frame provide a neutral, versatile aesthetic suitable for various contemporary interior design schemes.

The download is a 2.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these components are organised as distinct groups, allowing for easy placement and alignment within a model. Users can apply materials directly to the fabric and metal layers to match specific project colour palettes. Since these are high-traffic seating units, they can be easily arrayed or scaled to fit specific corridor lengths or waiting room layouts. Ensure the model origin is set at the floor level for quick positioning when importing into larger scene files.

These beam seating units are ideal for public infrastructure projects, including airport terminals, hospital waiting areas, and corporate reception lobbies. They pair well with minimalist interior finishes such as concrete or polished stone flooring. Architects and interior designers searching for modular public seating solutions will find these assets effective for populating commercial floor plans and transit hubs. They are also appropriate for modern office environments where a clean, industrial look is required to complement open-plan workspaces or public service counters.
