About this asset

This contemporary office chair is a SketchUp model featuring a sage green fabric upholstery and a sleek silver metal swivel base. This task chair features a curved, semi-circular backrest that wraps around to form integrated armrests, providing a compact and ergonomic profile. The seat is upholstered in a soft, sage green fabric with subtle texture, contrasting against the structural elements. It rests on a five-star base finished in a matte metallic silver, equipped with standard black hooded castors for mobility. The central gas-lift column is finished in black, providing a clean visual break between the seat and the base. Its proportions are tailored for modern workstations, balancing comfort with a minimal footprint.

The download is a 3.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset into a SketchUp scene, use the import function to bring the component into your workspace. The model is organised with logical geometry, allowing for easy material replacement if a different fabric or metal finish is required for specific design iterations. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base to facilitate rotation when creating plan arrangements. The model is lightweight, making it suitable for populating large office floor plates without significantly impacting file performance or rendering times.

This piece is ideal for modern home offices, collaborative workspaces, and professional studio environments where a balance of comfort and aesthetic restraint is necessary. It pairs well with minimalist work desks and neutral interior palettes, serving as a subtle focal point through its muted green tone. Professionals searching for ergonomic task seating, compact swivel chairs, or contemporary office furniture will find this model versatile for both residential and commercial project stages, including conceptual design and final interior visualisation workflows.
