About this asset

This contemporary bi-fold door in SketchUp features a natural wood frame with fluted glass panels and a decorative transom detail. The assembly is a four-panel bi-fold door system finished in a warm natural timber tone. Each door leaf features a solid wood base panel, with the upper portion divided into a six-pane grid. The panes are filled with vertical fluted glass, offering a balance of translucency and texture. A distinctive geometric cross-bracing pattern is integrated into the top section of each panel, providing a subtle stylistic accent. The frame includes matching timber jambs and casing, with hinges visible along the folding joints, designed for smooth operation in interior residential or commercial settings.

The download is a 36.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is structured as a single group or component, allowing for easy placement into wall openings. Use the scale tool to adjust the overall height and width to match specific project requirements. The materials are applied as standard textures; users can replace these with custom wood grain or glass settings within the materials tray to suit specific render engine requirements. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for door assemblies to maintain clean project organisation.

This bi-fold door is ideal for residential interiors, particularly for connecting living spaces, dining rooms, or home offices where flexible spatial division is required.
