About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a low-profile, orange fabric modular sofa accompanied by a minimalist white floor lamp. The sofa presents a distinct low-profile, modular design characterised by its deep-seated, cushioned aesthetic and quilted fabric upholstery in a vibrant orange hue. It sits directly on the floor, lacking visible legs, which emphasises its relaxed, lounge-focused silhouette. A draped, light-coloured fabric throw adds a sense of lived-in texture to the seat. Beside the sofa stands a slender, adjustable floor lamp finished in a crisp white. The lamp features a simple, conical shade and a thin, articulated arm, providing a clean, functional contrast to the soft, voluminous form of the seating unit.

The download is a 6.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a set containing both the sofa and the lamp. Users should check the layer organisation upon merging to ensure the light source and upholstery textures remain correctly assigned. For optimal results, apply high-resolution fabric textures to the sofa’s quilted surfaces and adjust the material glossiness to match the desired room lighting. The lamp component can be repositioned independently, allowing for flexible placement within your scene’s composition and camera framing.

This set is ideal for residential living rooms, casual lounge areas, or contemporary hotel lobbies where a relaxed, informal seating arrangement is required. The low-profile design works exceptionally well in loft apartments, media rooms, or open-plan areas that prioritise comfort and a modern aesthetic. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables, large area rugs, or floor-to-ceiling windows.
