About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp scene features a natural wood and rattan TV cabinet, integrated open shelving, and a wall-mounted display. The assembly comprises a low-profile six-door sideboard constructed from light-toned timber, with each door panel featuring woven rattan inserts. It is supported by short, slender legs and finished with discrete dark hardware. Beside the main unit, a vertical black metal frame supports three slim timber shelves, backlit for display purposes. The wall behind the television is treated with a soft, curved plaster-effect panel. The composition includes a console table and two stools, creating a cohesive living room arrangement. The proportions are balanced, emphasising natural textures and clean, modern lines.

The download is a 23.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, the cabinet and associated wall elements are organised into grouped components, allowing for easy placement and scaling within a larger model. Users should manage the geometry on dedicated layers to maintain performance. Materials are applied as standard textures; ensure texture mapping is checked after scaling. The scene is lit with a neutral environment, suitable for further customisation with V-Ray or Enscape lights. For accurate renders, verify the orientation of the rattan mapping on the door panels to maintain consistency.

This media console unit is ideal for residential interior design projects, particularly in living rooms or open-plan lounge spaces. It serves as a focal point for modern apartments or minimalist homes where natural materials are desired. Designers can use this model in early-stage concept visualisations or final presentation renders. It pairs well with neutral palettes, indoor plants, and soft textiles.
