About this asset

This contemporary fabric curtain set for SketchUp features four distinct colour combinations to suit diverse interior design schemes. This collection includes four distinct curtain panel configurations, each featuring a layered aesthetic with a primary sheer or solid panel paired with accenting side drapes. The fabric textures exhibit a soft, natural weave with consistent, vertical pinch-pleat detailing that provides a structured, elegant drape. The colour palette is intentionally neutral and organic, blending shades of crisp white, warm beige, and muted sage green. Each set is presented as a complete unit, showcasing the interplay between the lighter base fabric and the contrasting, bolder side panels, suitable for floor-to-ceiling window treatments.

The download is a 9.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are managed as individual components, allowing for easy placement and scaling to fit specific window heights or widths. Users can leverage the native materials library to adjust the fabric opacity or colour tinting if required for specific lighting conditions. Best practice involves placing these on a dedicated layer for toggling visibility during the modelling process, ensuring efficient viewport navigation while maintaining high-quality visual output in final renderings.

These curtains are essential for adding realism to residential bedrooms, living rooms, and hotel suites, where soft textures are required to balance hard architectural surfaces. They pair effectively with modern or transitional furniture, providing a finished look to window elevations. Professionals often search for these assets when detailing high-end residential projects or hospitality interiors to introduce warmth and privacy. They are particularly effective in staged scenes where natural light interaction with fabric is a key visual focus.
