Japanese Stone Water Basin Set

This Japanese stone water basin set for SketchUp provides twenty-four distinct garden features, each crafted with traditional bamboo and stone. Comprising twenty-four unique sculptural elements, this collection offers a variety of traditional Japanese-inspired water features. The set includes hand-carved stone basins, bamboo spouts, and water-circulating mechanisms like bamboo shishi-odoshi and water wheels. Each model showcases distinct textures, ranging from rough-hewn granite and weathered stone to polished ceramic vessels. Many pieces incorporate aquatic plants, lily pads, or koi, adding a realistic organic touch to the water surfaces. Proportions vary from small, tabletop-sized vessels to larger, floor-standing basin installations, providing a versatile range of options for detailed landscape design and outdoor styling.

The download is a 77.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 24 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

These SketchUp components are organised for efficient integration into landscape projects. Users can easily import individual files or copy-paste components between models. Since each piece is a distinct asset, they can be scaled to fit specific site conditions without compromising the underlying geometry. Applying high-resolution stone and wood textures to the faces allows for quick material adjustments, while the clean linework ensures they remain lightweight enough for complex site plans and multiple placements within a single master landscape model.
