About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey tufted upholstered bench with a draped yellow throw and a decorative cat statue. This rectangular bench features deep button tufting across the top seat cushion, providing a classic textured aesthetic. The frame is supported by four slender, tapered dark wood legs, creating a refined profile. Draped over one end is a soft yellow throw blanket, which adds a casual, lived-in element to the composition. A stylized, solid-coloured cat figurine is included as a decorative accessory, positioned to interact with the bench. The overall design balances clean structural lines with the softness of the upholstery and the organic drape of the fabric throw.

The download is a 32.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for the bench and the accessory cat figure, allowing for easy selection or toggling. The upholstery features a mapped fabric texture, which can be adjusted in the material editor to match specific project colour palettes. Users should check the pivot point at the base of the legs to ensure accurate placement on floor surfaces. The throw blanket is a separate mesh object, enabling repositioning or removal depending on the desired level of clutter in the scene.

Ideal for residential interior design, this bench works well at the foot of a bed, in a walk-in wardrobe, or as occasional seating in a living room. It complements contemporary or transitional schemes, pairing effectively with minimalist bedroom furniture or luxury dressing areas. Professionals often search for "bedroom bench," "tufted ottoman," or "end of bed seating" when looking for such functional accents. This asset provides a quick way to add detail and realism to master suites, boutique hotel rooms, or high-end residential staging projects.
