Contemporary Grey Fabric Timber Armchair with Throw

This contemporary SketchUp armchair features a natural timber frame and grey fabric upholstery, complete with an integrated ottoman. This contemporary armchair design rests upon a light-toned timber frame with clean, linear geometry. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, providing a soft contrast to the exposed wood structure. A notable detail is the matching ottoman, which extends the seating profile for a lounge-style configuration. Draped over the backrest is a plaid-patterned throw blanket in warm earth tones, adding texture and a sense of domestic comfort to the assembly. The overall proportions are balanced for residential lounge spaces, emphasizing a functional, minimalist aesthetic suitable for various interior schemes.

The download is an 8.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

For SketchUp users, this model is structured as a clean component set, allowing for easy placement within interior scenes. The timber and fabric elements are assigned to logical layers, facilitating material overrides or texture adjustments using the native paint bucket tool. Users should verify the scale against project-specific floor plans to ensure ergonomic accuracy. When integrating into a larger room, consider applying a subtle bump map to the fabric surfaces to enhance realism during rendering, while maintaining the model’s efficient geometry for smooth viewport performance.
