About this asset

This contemporary modular sectional sofa scene for 3ds Max features a grey fabric arrangement, coffee tables, and accent wall panels. This comprehensive furniture scene centers on a low-profile, modular sectional sofa upholstered in light grey fabric. The configuration includes a chaise lounge section and is accessorised with a red throw blanket. The set is complemented by a sculptural black stool, a set of stacked glass-topped coffee tables with black bases, and a textured area rug. The backdrop consists of a large, rustic stone-cladded wall section paired with dark, vertical timber-panelled elements, creating a strong textural contrast. The arrangement provides a complete, ready-to-render living room vignette suitable for high-end interior visualisations.

The download is a 35.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max asset into a project, treat it as a grouped assembly to maintain the spatial relationship between the sofa, tables, and wall panels. The modular components are typically organised by layer, allowing for easy adjustment of the seating arrangement or material overrides. Users should check the texture mapping on the fabric and timber surfaces after scaling to ensure consistent grain and weave resolution, particularly when working in close-up camera angles within the scene.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this sofa scene is well-suited for luxury apartment living rooms or boutique hotel suites. Professionals seeking a balanced, modern aesthetic will find the combination of soft fabric seating and hard stone wall cladding useful for establishing focal points in architectural renders. It pairs effectively with minimalist decor, large-format artwork, and focused task lighting.
