About this asset

Modern wall sconces in this SketchUp model set include faceted up-down fixtures, curved shield lights, and a central circular glass luminaire. This collection features seven contemporary wall-mounted lighting fixtures presented in contrasting geometric forms and finishes. Three fixtures showcase faceted, chevron-profile extrusions with bidirectional up-and-down illumination, finished in matte black, warm grey, and glossy white. Accompanying them are three compact curved-plate sconces with rounded organic silhouettes in white, red, and charcoal tones. At the centre sits an illuminated circular sconce featuring a convex clear glass diffuser and an arched dark metal bracket that anchors an exposed central emitter. Each model balances clean planar edges with functional illumination geometry.

The download is a 2.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 7 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Architects and visualisers can import these fixtures directly into SketchUp scenes to arrange accent lighting along corridors and feature walls. Components can be duplicated, rotated, and adjusted individually. Designers using V-Ray, Enscape, or similar rendering extensions can assign IES photometric profiles to the light emitters and tune material reflections across the glossy lacquer, painted metal, and clear glass surfaces.

Well suited for high-end residential, boutique hospitality, and commercial workplace interiors, these sconces integrate naturally into hotel corridors, dining rooms, bedside arrangements, and executive reception lounges. Visualisers and interior architects can position them to deliver realistic wash lighting across vertical surfaces or introduce subtle accent illumination. They pair effectively with minimalist plaster finishes, architectural timber panelling, and textured stone partitions across concept development and client presentation phases.
