About this asset

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features a grey fabric L-shaped sofa, complemented by a lounge chair and coffee table. The primary element is a modular L-shaped sofa upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, featuring clean lines and a chaise lounge extension. Accompanying the sofa are two accent cushions in contrasting blue and beige tones. The arrangement includes a circular coffee table with a dark top and a solid wood pedestal base, alongside a mid-century style lounge chair with a tan leather-effect shell and grey fabric seat. The scene is anchored by a patterned area rug and a full-height marble-effect wall panel, complete with a framed landscape artwork.

The download is a 46.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this scene is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation. Users can isolate the sofa or chair by toggling layer visibility or using the component outliner. Materials are applied as standard textures, allowing for quick adjustments to fabric colours or wood finishes using the material editor. The scene is scaled for interior projects; users should check the model origin and orientation against their floor plan before merging into a larger master file or architectural project.

This asset is ideal for residential interior design visualisations, particularly for open-plan living areas or modern apartment staging. It works well in hospitality lobbies or high-end office breakout zones where a domestic, comfortable aesthetic is required. Architects and designers can use this setup to quickly populate floor plans or create eye-level perspectives for client presentations. The neutral palette pairs effectively with various interior styles, making it a versatile addition to any library for rapid design iteration and high-quality rendering workflows.
