Brown Leather Egg-Style Lounge Chair with Chrome Base

This 3ds Max lounge chair features an organic, egg-style silhouette upholstered in rich brown leather with a polished chrome swivel base. Defined by its iconic, cocoon-like shell, this lounge chair offers a distinct mid-century aesthetic. The seat is fully upholstered in a smooth, dark brown leather, showcasing subtle tension and soft curves that provide a supportive, wrap-around feel. A separate, integrated seat cushion maintains the chair's organic profile. The entire shell is elevated by a slender, four-star polished chrome pedestal base, which allows for smooth rotation. This piece balances structural elegance with deep comfort, making it a recognizable focal point in any interior space that values classic design and high-quality material finishes.

The download is an 8.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single object with clearly defined material IDs for the leather and metal components. Users should ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base to facilitate easy rotation during layout planning. The leather texture is mapped to follow the contours of the shell, and the chrome base utilizes reflective shaders to interact accurately with scene lighting. It is recommended to apply a turbosmooth modifier if higher subdivision levels are required for close-up architectural visualization renders.
