About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey fabric L-shaped sectional sofa set complete with a coffee table and shag rug. This sectional sofa set features a low-profile, modular design with a tufted seat cushion aesthetic and wide, blocky armrests. The upholstery is a neutral grey fabric, complemented by darker grey scatter cushions and a textured throw blanket. The set includes a circular coffee table with a dark, slim metal frame and a matching dark tabletop. A large, high-pile shag rug provides a soft foundation for the arrangement. The configuration is L-shaped, designed to anchor a lounge space, and includes a slim floor lamp integrated behind the corner section, providing a clean, cohesive look.

The download is a 33.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type, allowing for easy selection and manipulation of the individual components. Users should check the pivot points to ensure the sofa modules align correctly on the floor plane. The materials are mapped for immediate use, though scaling may be required to match specific scene units. Lighting the scene with an HDRI or standard photometric lights will help capture the texture of the shag rug and the subtle sheen of the fabric upholstery effectively.

This furniture set is suited for residential living room visualisations, hotel lobby lounge areas, or contemporary apartment staging. It works well in open-plan layouts where the L-shaped footprint helps define seating zones. Designers searching for modern lounge furniture, modular sectional systems, or complete living room sets will find this asset useful for mid-to-high-end interior projects. It pairs well with minimalist decor, large-scale artwork, or feature wall panelling to create a balanced, professional-grade interior scene within a 3D environment.
