Contemporary Grey Fabric Armchair with Dark Wood Frame, Single Armchair

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a curved dark wood frame and a grey upholstered seat with a matching brown accent cushion. The armchair is defined by its minimalist, semi-circular frame crafted from dark-stained timber, providing a robust yet elegant silhouette. The seating element consists of a deep, plush upholstered cushion in a neutral grey textile, offering a comfortable contrast to the slender wooden structure. A square brown accent cushion is included, which rests against the curved backrest, enhancing the ergonomic support. The proportions are balanced, suitable for lounge areas where both comfort and aesthetic clarity are required. Every component is clearly articulated, from the vertical back supports to the rounded seat profile.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the object is placed on the intended floor plane and check its pivot point for easy rotation. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward material assignment if custom fabrics or wood stains are required. Utilize the existing mapping coordinates to adjust texture tiling on the cushions. For optimal rendering, place the model in a well-lit scene, using HDRI lighting to highlight the subtle textures of the fabric and the grain of the dark wood frame.

This armchair is a versatile addition to residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive office waiting areas. Its neutral colour palette allows it to pair effectively with various interior styles, from modern minimalist spaces to more traditional settings. Professionals searching for accent seating will find this piece useful for creating intimate conversation zones or reading corners. It works well when grouped in pairs or placed alongside a side table, providing a sophisticated focal point in both small and large-scale architectural visualisations.
