About this asset

This contemporary side table for 3ds Max features a circular top with a gold-toned metal edge and a tapered black pedestal base. The side table presents a clean, contemporary silhouette defined by its balanced proportions and material contrast. It features a circular top, finished in a muted grey, which is encircled by a thin, polished gold-toned metal rim. This refined upper section rests upon a solid, tapered pedestal base that transitions into a darker, near-black tone at the floor. The design avoids unnecessary ornamentation, relying instead on the interplay between the reflective metal edge and the matte surfaces of the top and base to create a sophisticated focal point for interior settings.

The download is a 1.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

This 3ds Max asset is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate efficient scene management. Users can easily adjust the material parameters to refine the reflectivity of the gold rim or the gloss level of the grey tabletop to match specific project lighting conditions. The model is scaled for standard interior applications, allowing for simple integration into existing scenes using basic alignment tools. Ensure that pivot points are set to the base for precise placement against upholstery or within tight spatial configurations.

Ideal for high-end residential interiors, this piece functions effectively as a standalone accent table in a living room or as a bedside companion in a luxury bedroom suite. Its compact pedestal footprint makes it suitable for boutique hotel lobbies or refined lounge areas where space is at a premium. Designers often pair this table with minimalist velvet seating or mid-century inspired lounge chairs to create a balanced aesthetic. It is a versatile choice for any project requiring a subtle, elegant touch of metallic detail.
