About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a large circular malachite table with a built-in lazy susan and twelve red velvet chairs. This expansive dining arrangement comprises a circular table with a striking green malachite-patterned surface and a central rotating lazy susan. The table is supported by a dark, minimalist metal frame that provides a clean contrast to the vibrant stone top. Accompanied by twelve dining chairs, the set features a curved, upholstered backrest and seat finished in a bold red velvet. The chair frames are constructed from slender, dark-finished metal, echoing the table base. A decorative floral arrangement is included as a centerpiece, completing this formal, high-impact dining room configuration.

The download is a 100 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 13 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can easily manipulate the lazy susan by rotating the central disc element independently. Material slots for the malachite texture and velvet shaders are typically assigned to separate object IDs, allowing for quick adjustments to reflection or bump maps. Ensure the pivot point for the chairs is set to the base for easy placement or rotation around the table perimeter.

This dining set is ideal for high-end residential projects, luxury hotel dining rooms, or exclusive restaurant interiors. It serves as a strong focal point in formal dining spaces where a large seating capacity is required. Designers often pair this set with minimalist lighting, such as a large pendant or chandelier, to balance the bold colour palette.
