About this asset

This set of six contemporary ceramic wall panels for SketchUp features a high-gloss finish and organic, crumpled surface geometry. This collection consists of six square wall panels featuring highly tactile, organic surface textures that mimic crushed or folded material. The set includes three distinct surface patterns rendered in a high-gloss finish, available in black, deep blue, and white colourways. Each panel presents a unique, non-uniform relief, creating dynamic shadows and highlights across the surface. These pieces are designed to be arranged in modular grids or custom configurations to create feature walls. The substantial depth of the relief adds a sculptural quality to any interior partition or accent wall surface.

The download is a 65.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 6 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these panels are provided as individual components, allowing for easy placement and arraying across wall surfaces. Users can apply these as high-detail wall cladding by nesting them within groups or components. The high-gloss materials should be managed through the native material editor, ensuring proper reflection settings are maintained. The geometry is dense, so it is best to use these for hero views or close-up shots where surface detail is essential, rather than filling an entire building model with them.

These panels are ideal for adding texture to modern residential living rooms, luxury retail showrooms, or boutique hotel lobbies. They function effectively as sculptural wall art or as a dramatic feature wall behind a reception desk or a headboard. Designers often search for these when looking for '3D wall relief', 'tactile wall panels', or 'contemporary wall decor' to break up flat surfaces. They pair well with minimalist interior schemes, providing a necessary contrast to smooth, matte finishes in high-end architectural visualisation projects.
