About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp lounge chair features a cream fabric tufted seat shell supported by a natural wood four-star swivel base. This lounge chair presents a soft, quilted fabric upholstery in a neutral cream tone, featuring a distinct grid-stitched pattern across the seat and backrest. The shell is constructed from a smooth white moulded material, creating a clean contrast against the warm, natural-wood four-star swivel base. The proportions are compact yet inviting, designed to offer a relaxed seated posture. The structural junction between the seat shell and the base is finished in a dark, understated metal, providing stability and allowing for smooth rotation, making it a versatile piece for various interior settings.

The download is a 5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into SketchUp, ensure the component is placed on a dedicated furniture layer to maintain scene organisation. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy material swaps if a different fabric texture or wood finish is required for specific design schemes. Users can rotate the component to suit the desired orientation within the space, and the model is lightweight enough to be duplicated for multiple seating arrangements without significantly impacting the overall performance of the project file.

This piece is well-suited for modern residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or contemporary executive offices where casual yet refined seating is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables or as a standalone reading chair in bedroom corners. Designers frequently search for this type of swivel lounge chair when specifying interiors that demand a balance of comfort and sculptural form. It works particularly well in projects focusing on scandinavian or light-toned contemporary palettes, adding texture through its tufted upholstery detail.
