About this asset

This circular fabric rug for SketchUp features a playful green and blue crocodile motif on a white background for children's rooms. Designed for a youthful interior, this circular rug features a high-pile texture that mimics soft textile construction. The base colour is a clean, crisp white, serving as a neutral canvas for the central crocodile graphic. The motif utilises varying shades of green and navy blue to create a distinct, whimsical pattern. A thin, textured border in a soft blue encircles the perimeter of the rug, anchoring the design. The proportions are balanced to suit small play areas or nursery settings, providing a tactile, soft surface that contrasts with hard flooring finishes.

The download is a 32.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp model into a project, place the component directly onto the floor geometry to avoid z-fighting. Use the scale tool to adjust the diameter to fit specific room constraints. Apply a high-resolution texture map to the surface if closer camera angles are required for renders. Ensure the rug is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling during the design development phase, keeping the scene file clean and manageable for larger interior design projects.

This rug is an ideal choice for residential nursery designs, kids' bedrooms, and playrooms where a playful, soft aesthetic is required. It integrates well with minimalist or modern furniture pieces, such as rounded lounge chairs or wooden toy sets, to create a cohesive, inviting atmosphere. Designers often search for this type of textile asset when specifying elements for family-oriented homes or boutique childcare facilities, looking for soft finishes that add character and comfort to otherwise neutral, functional interior spaces.
