About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max stool features a grey fabric seat contrasted by a wrap-around brown leather backrest on a metal base. This compact stool presents a sophisticated blend of textures, pairing a plush, grey fabric-upholstered seat with a structured, curved brown leather outer shell. The backrest wraps partially around the circular seat, secured with subtle metal detailing that connects to a slender, dark metal frame. Its proportions are suited for versatile placement, offering both comfort and a clean, sculptural silhouette. The contrast between the soft, textile-covered cushion and the smooth, firm leather exterior provides a refined aesthetic suitable for high-end interior schemes where tactile quality and minimalist form are prioritised.

The download is a 20.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer separation for the fabric, leather, and metal components, allowing for easy material adjustment or texture scaling. Users can place the asset as a single element or group it with lounge furniture. The geometry is clean, supporting efficient viewport navigation and high-quality rendering. Ensure pivot points are aligned to the base of the legs for quick placement on floor planes, and apply custom HDRIs to highlight the material contrast between the leather and fabric surfaces.

Ideal for residential living areas, hotel lobbies, or executive offices, this stool functions effectively as an accent piece or additional seating.
