About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater modular sofa is a 3ds Max model featuring a cream fabric upholstery with a distinct tufted-grid aesthetic. Defined by its low-profile, boxy silhouette, this 3-seater modular sofa offers a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The upholstery is finished in a neutral cream fabric, featuring a distinctive grid-tufted pattern across the seat and backrest surfaces. The structure includes integrated armrests that maintain the linear geometry of the piece. It is accompanied by a set of decorative throw cushions, including a solid brown square cushion, a floral-shaped cushion, and a patterned cushion with a dark spotted print, adding texture and visual interest to the minimalist frame.

The download is a 92.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The model is provided for 3ds Max, allowing for efficient integration into interior scenes through standard import or merging processes. Users should ensure the object's pivot point is correctly aligned with the floor plane for easy placement. Materials are applied to separate components, enabling quick adjustments to fabric shaders or textures. Proper lighting setups, such as using an HDRI for ambient occlusion, will help emphasize the depth of the grid-tufted detailing across the seat and backrest surfaces.

This modular sofa is well-suited for modern residential living rooms, open-plan apartments, or upscale hotel lounge areas where a low-slung, comfortable aesthetic is desired. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and warm ambient lighting.
