About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a cream boucle lounge chair with a solid timber frame, showcasing a clean, tactile aesthetic. Defined by its balanced proportions and tactile contrast, this lounge chair features a low-profile frame constructed from natural-toned wood. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a textured cream-coloured boucle fabric, providing a soft, rounded aesthetic that offsets the linear geometry of the timber supports. The backrest is suspended between the rear legs, creating an open, airy silhouette. The design is minimalist, focusing on the interplay between the organic grain of the wood and the dense, looped texture of the upholstery, making it a versatile piece for modern interiors.

Designed for 3ds Max, this asset is structured for efficient scene integration. Users should check the object scale upon import to ensure it aligns with standard seat height requirements. The model uses separate material IDs for the timber frame and the fabric upholstery, allowing for quick adjustments to wood stains or fabric colours. Proper lighting in the scene will highlight the depth of the boucle texture, so consider using high-quality textures with appropriate bump or displacement maps to enhance the surface realism.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or relaxed office breakout areas, this lounge chair serves as a comfortable accent piece. It pairs effectively with contemporary coffee tables or floor lamps to create a quiet reading nook or a casual conversation zone. Architects and interior designers frequently specify this type of seating to introduce warmth and texture into minimalist or japandi-inspired spaces.
