Contemporary Blue Velvet Lounge Chair with Side Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a blue velvet lounge chair with a circular back and a minimalist black metal side table. This set includes a statement lounge chair and a coordinating side table. The chair features a distinctively rounded, circular backrest with vertical channel tufting and a deep, plush seat cushion, fully upholstered in a deep blue velvet fabric. It is supported by a solid, block-style plinth base. Beside it sits a slim side table with a circular top and four slender, interconnected black metal legs. The design is compact and sculptural, suitable for creating intimate seating zones within larger open-plan spaces, providing a refined aesthetic through its combination of soft textures and linear metal framing.

The download is a 7.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation of the chair and table components. Users should ensure the velvet material shaders are correctly mapped with appropriate falloff or sheen settings to capture the fabric's depth. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within a scene. For optimal results, apply a high-quality HDRI environment map to highlight the subtle reflections on the metal table legs and the soft light absorption of the velvet upholstery.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or boutique retail showrooms, this set serves as an excellent focal point for a reading nook or a secondary lounge area. Professionals often search for such pieces when curating luxury interior schemes that require a blend of comfort and modern elegance. It pairs seamlessly with neutral-toned rugs or minimalist floor lamps, fitting perfectly into projects requiring a sophisticated, tactile accent piece that maintains a clean, uncluttered profile in professional architectural visualisations.
