About this asset

This contemporary floor mirror for SketchUp features a striking arched frame with a repeating wavy profile in a polished copper finish. Designed as a statement piece, this tall, arched floor mirror stands directly on the floor. Its defining feature is the thick, sculptural frame, which is cast in a metallic copper material with a high-gloss, reflective surface. The frame profile is characterised by a series of repetitive, vertical undulations or waves that run along the sides and top of the arch, creating a rhythmic, tactile texture. The central glass is perfectly flat and inset, providing a clean contrast to the ornate, dynamic geometry of the surrounding metal border.

The download is a 4.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this component is structured for easy placement against interior walls. Users can scale the mirror to fit specific ceiling heights or room proportions, though it is best kept at its default scale to maintain the intended frame thickness. The copper material is applied as a standard surface finish, allowing for adjustments in reflectivity or colour tinting if a different metallic look is required for the final render. Ensure the model is placed on the floor plane to avoid floating geometry.

This piece is ideal for high-end residential entryways, walk-in wardrobes, or boutique retail showrooms where a focal point is required. It pairs well with minimalist interiors, where the warm copper tone and wavy texture provide a necessary contrast to neutral walls and clean lines. Architects and interior designers often search for sculptural floor mirrors to add character to dressing areas or hallways. It is a versatile asset for projects ranging from luxury apartments to sophisticated hospitality lobbies or modern hotel suites.
