About this asset

The unit presents a clean, minimalist aesthetic, defined by its flat-fronted, three-door storage configuration. Finished in a uniform charcoal matte, the cabinet sits elevated on slender, dark metal legs that provide a light, airy profile despite its solid storage volume. The design is devoid of visible hardware, relying on a simple, seamless facade that emphasises horizontal lines. Proportionally balanced for standard media setups, the unit offers a low-profile silhouette suitable for contemporary spaces. This model includes the base cabinet structure and the associated legs, presenting a versatile storage solution for media equipment and household items.

The download is a 5.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for precise placement on finished floor levels. The matte surface allows for straightforward material adjustments, such as modifying the diffuse colour or adding subtle noise maps to simulate texture. Users should apply a standard physical material to match the scene's lighting environment. Grouping the cabinet components into a single object or layer helps manage scene complexity, especially when populating larger residential interior projects.

This TV cabinet is ideal for residential living rooms, media lounges, and open-plan apartments where a clean, uncluttered look is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist decor, neutral colour palettes, and contemporary furniture arrangements. Designers often search for this type of media console to anchor a feature wall or to provide discreet storage in high-end residential developments. Its neutral tone makes it highly adaptable, fitting seamlessly into both monochrome and vibrant interior design schemes when paired with decorative accessories or houseplants.
