About this asset

This contemporary L-shaped sofa set in charcoal fabric and walnut wood is a SketchUp model featuring an integrated side table. This contemporary lounge set features a modular L-shaped sofa upholstered in a dark charcoal fabric, supported by a solid walnut timber frame. The design includes an integrated wooden side table extension on the left, creating a seamless linear profile. The set is accompanied by a low, cylindrical wooden coffee table and a smaller, pedestal-style side table, both finished in a matching warm walnut tone. The sofa's low-slung silhouette and clean, geometric lines are balanced by plush cushions, providing a sophisticated look suitable for high-end residential living spaces or boutique hotel lobby lounges.

The download is a 35 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model, use the component browser to import the geometry directly into your active scene. The model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy material adjustments or minor geometry tweaks without affecting the overall structure. Ensure the axis is set correctly at the base for efficient placement. For optimal rendering, apply high-resolution textures to the walnut surfaces and use realistic fabric shaders for the cushions to capture the subtle light interaction with the textile grain.

This sofa set works well in open-plan living rooms, executive suites, and luxury residential projects where a cohesive, refined aesthetic is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist wall panelling and warm, ambient lighting, such as the circular sconce shown in the reference. Professionals often search for this type of asset when looking for 'modular lounge seating', 'contemporary sectional sofas', or 'walnut and fabric furniture' to populate interior design schemes, ensuring a balance of comfort and structural elegance in their final presentation.
