Contemporary Brown Velvet Armchair with Decorative Cushion

This contemporary brown velvet armchair 3ds Max model features a distinctive winged silhouette and a matching decorative bolster cushion. Defined by its curved, high-back profile and integrated armrests, this contemporary armchair offers a sophisticated aesthetic suitable for high-end interiors. The seat and backrest are fully upholstered in a rich brown velvet fabric, providing a soft texture and deep colour profile. It is accompanied by a rectangular bolster cushion in a neutral beige fabric, accented with a horizontal blue strap and metallic hardware detailing. The entire structure is supported by a slender, four-legged metal swivel base, which provides a sleek contrast to the plush, rounded form of the chair's main body.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layer naming to facilitate easy scene management. The upholstery and metallic base components are separated, allowing for quick material adjustments or texture mapping. Users should check the scale upon insertion to ensure it aligns with project-specific floor heights. Given the velvet finish, applying appropriate reflection and glossiness maps in the material editor is recommended to achieve a realistic sheen under studio lighting conditions or within a broader interior scene setup.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive office lounges, this armchair serves as a versatile accent piece. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or as part of a curated seating group in a reading nook. Designers often search for this type of asset when specifying luxury residential furniture or creating comfortable, stylish waiting areas. Its neutral yet refined palette makes it a reliable choice for projects requiring a blend of comfort and contemporary design flair in high-traffic interiors.
