About this asset

This contemporary 2-seater leather sofa set for 3ds Max features a matching glass-top coffee table and ottoman on natural wood frames. The set comprises a compact 2-seater sofa, a rectangular coffee table, and an upholstered ottoman. The sofa is finished in brown leather with two included scatter cushions, supported by an exposed natural wood base with distinctively curved legs. The coffee table mirrors this aesthetic, featuring a dark glass top set within a matching wooden frame, while the ottoman provides a cohesive seating or footrest element. The proportions are balanced for smaller lounge areas, emphasizing clean lines and a harmonious material palette of warm leather, polished glass, and organic wood grain textures throughout.

The download is a 14 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is typically managed as a group or individual assets. Professionals should check the pivot points for the sofa and ottoman to ensure correct placement on floor planes. Materials are assigned via standard multi-sub-object slots, allowing for easy adjustment of leather reflection or wood bump maps. When merging into a scene, verify the scale against standard human anthropometrics and ensure the glass material has appropriate refraction settings for realistic rendering output within the target viewport.

This furniture arrangement is ideal for residential living rooms, small apartment lounges, or hotel lobby waiting areas. The set pairs effectively with minimalist or contemporary interior schemes where a balance of comfort and structural design is required. Designers often search for this type of consolidated set when furnishing compact residential projects or staged apartments. It complements neutral wall palettes and hardwood flooring, serving as a focal point in open-plan layouts where a cohesive, pre-coordinated look is necessary for rapid project development.
