Contemporary Black Wood and Cane Dining Set, 8-Seater

This contemporary 8-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a black wood table and matching timber chairs with woven cane backrests. The set comprises a long, rectangular dining table finished in a deep black stain that highlights the natural wood grain, paired with eight matching chairs. Each chair is constructed from solid timber with a warm, natural finish and features a distinctive curved backrest inset with traditional rattan cane webbing. The proportions are balanced for standard dining heights, offering a clean, organic aesthetic that contrasts the dark, bold table surface with the lighter, textural quality of the woven cane. A simple, minimalist metallic bowl is included as a decorative tabletop accessory.

The download is a 9.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 9 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can integrate this 3ds Max model into scenes by merging the file into their master project. The table and chairs are typically grouped as separate objects, allowing for easy arrangement within a dining room layout. Users should ensure texture paths are mapped correctly to maintain the wood grain and cane detail. Lighting setups should be adjusted to capture the reflective quality of the black table surface and the subtle translucency of the woven backrests for realistic interior visualisations.

This dining set is suited for high-end residential dining rooms, boutique hotel restaurants, and modern cafe interiors. Its clean, contemporary profile pairs well with neutral palettes or spaces requiring a dark, grounding focal point. Designers searching for a balanced mix of natural materials and bold, dark finishes will find this set versatile for both formal and casual dining arrangements. It works effectively in projects ranging from minimalist apartments to sophisticated hospitality spaces where a cohesive, elegant furniture grouping is required.
