Contemporary Black Metal and Wood Open Bookshelf

This 3ds Max model of a contemporary black metal and wood bookshelf features a five-tier open frame with an extensive curated decor set. This contemporary open-frame bookshelf is constructed from a slender, matte black metal structure, providing a minimalist aesthetic. The unit features five distinct tiers, with the base shelf finished in a warm, natural-toned wood veneer. The design is highly modular in appearance, utilizing thin vertical and horizontal supports to create a balanced, geometric grid. Included in this asset is a comprehensive collection of decorative objects, ranging from hardback books and ceramic vases to abstract sculptures and small accent pieces, all pre-arranged to fill the shelves and provide a realistic, lived-in appearance for interior visualisations.

The download is a 95 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection and adjustment of the shelf frame versus the individual decor elements. Users can append the asset as a single block or detach the decorative accessories to populate other surfaces within the scene. The materials are set up for standard rendering workflows, with basic texture mapping applied to the wood base and metal frame, ensuring quick integration into architectural scenes without requiring complex shader adjustments or extensive re-texturing.
