About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max side table features a circular beige stone top set upon a turned dark wood pedestal base with ribbed detailing. This sculptural side table presents a balanced contrast between its natural stone surface and dark timber structure. The tabletop is a circular slab of light-toned, textured stone, providing a durable and organic finish. Below, the pedestal base is crafted from dark-stained wood, featuring a series of stacked, turned profiles. A central ribbed section adds a refined textural element to the otherwise smooth, sweeping curves of the base, which terminates in a wide, stable circular plinth. The proportions are compact, making it suitable for tight corners or as a subtle accent piece in a living space.

The download is a 12.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with distinct material IDs for the stone and wood components, allowing for easy adjustment of surface properties. The base geometry is clean, ensuring efficient performance when rendering with complex light setups. Users should verify the scale against their scene units upon insertion. The pedestal design is ideal for projects requiring a stable, singular footprint, and the textures are mapped to accommodate standard procedural or bitmap-based materials within the native environment.

This piece fits seamlessly into modern living room schemes, serving as a functional accent table beside a lounge chair or sofa. It is equally appropriate for hotel lobby seating areas or luxury bedroom suites, where a compact, elevated aesthetic is required. Architects and designers searching for sculptural, organic-minimalist furniture will find this item useful for residential projects. It pairs well with neutral palettes and soft furnishings, grounding an interior with its dark wood tones and natural stone finish.
